||How to get the Conference Place and Hotels
The Conference will be held in Prague in Diplomat hotel near the campus of the Czech Technical University in Dejvice. It is located close to the City Centre which can be reached by public transport within less than 15 minutes.
The hotel can be reached from the Prague Airport Ruzyne either by public bus transportation (price 32 Crowns) or by taxi (price about 400 Crowns).
Taxi stand and bus-stop are just in front of the hall of arrivals.
If you choose public transportation, buy a ticket in the hall of arrivals,
take the bus No. 119 and go to the terminus Dejvicka (about 20min). Hotel Diplomat is just beside the bus station. Hotels Silenzio,Denisa and Masarykova kolej are within 15 min on foot from the bus station.
Download the plan of Prague Metro and look at the transportation system.
Diplomat Hotel is in front of the Metro terminus Dejvicka - end of green Line A.
To get Diplomat from Prague Central Train Station (Hlavni nadrazi) take Line C direction Jizni Mesto and change at Muzeum Line A direction Dejvicka.
To get Diplomat from Smichov Train Station (Smichovske nadrazi) take Line B direction Cerny Most and change at Mustek Line A direction Dejvicka.
Tickets (26 Crowns) are sold through yellow ticket vending machines (also in English, coins only), at ticket offices located at some metro stations, at Tabák/Trafika kiosks, at some newsstands, and at tourist information centers.

||Obtaining Visa and Letter of Invitation
If it is necessary for you to obtain a visa to attend this conference, you can find relevant information about the application process on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
Letter of Invitation
All international visitors should check with his or her local consulate regarding visa and entry regulations for the Czech Republic, where the ICOVP-2011 Conference will be held. Visitors should take care of this well in advance of the conference date. If a letter of invitation is required as part of a visa application, a written request must be submitted to the Department of Foreign Relations of the Technical University of Liberec CONTACT
Both the following qualifications have to be met for such a letter to be issued:
You should be a participant of an official conference session, i.e., as, an organizer, chairing/ co-chairing, an author, a speaker or a registered visitor.
You should have paid the conference registration fee.

An invoice (bill) will be issued at the conference desk to every participant.
Participants who need an invoice for paying the conference fee are requested to send an official order form containing the address of their institution, its VAT number and a subject of order (ICOVP fee for XY, variable symbol).

||Pictures in paper
Please be aware that the pictures in Proceedings will not be coloured.
They will be printed in gray scale. Choose the colours of your graphs and figures appropriately . For detailed information about preparing illustrations, please check Springer artwork guidelines.
The figures will be printed in black and white, do not refer to color in the captions.
Only black and white will be shown in the print version, make sure that the main information will still be visible. Many colors are not distinguishable from one another when converted to black and white.
Do not use thin lines and/or lettering and check that all lines and lettering within the figures are legible at final size.
All lines should be at least 0.1 mm (0.3 pt) wide.
To add figure lettering, it is best to use Helvetica or Arial (sans serif fonts). Keep lettering consistently sized throughout your final-sized artwork, usually about 2–3 mm (8–12 pt).
Variance of type size within an illustration should be minimal, e.g., do not use 8-pt type on an axis and 20-pt type for the axis label.

||Uploading of Draft Full-Text Paper
Please upload your paper in My Account module.
ICOVP 2011 draft full-paper must be submitted in PDF format.
Draft full-text paper (in PDF format) is intended for comments of reviewers and editors. Authors will be acquainted with the comments and they could be asked to upload a corrected draft paper (in PDF format).
Final version. Once the paper is accepted the authors will be asked to upload a packet with a final version of paper. The packet will include a source file of the paper plus a pdf of the paper. The format of the source file can either be LaTeX, TeX or Word. The figures, tables, pictures should be supplied separately. Figures should be in a resolution of preferably 600 dpi. The PDF file is used as a print-out.

The paper must have an even number of pages (4 or 6).
The maximum number of pages is 6 and it cannot be exceeded.
Papers exceeding the maximum number of pages cannot be included in the Proceedings.

Filename of the uploaded PDF file should be:
YourSurname is the surname of the owner of account.
Paper is associated with the owner of account (whatever sequence of authors). The owner of account is the author who created "My account" and who inserted the abstract of paper.

should be named as:
Egilmez = Surname of the owner of account

Please use the LaTeX Template " For contributed books, proceedings, and similar" that can be found on the Springer website.
The authors of accepted abstracts received an e-mail requesting the upload of their full length papers in January. Please check the status of your paper in My Account module ( see FAQ: Status of Paper ).
The Proceedings of the Conference will be published as a book and therefore special attention needs to be paid to the formatting.
If English is not your native language, please ask a fluent English speaker to revise your paper.
